Course of events

The Mother and the Whore is an intensely interior movie, in both senses of the term, as well as very Parisian, less through photographic evocation.

I remember one evening, after a crazy massage day, sitting on the steps at the old harbor, watching the sun sink, in a moment I felt a bit like Schneider in the movie—lost in a sea of thoughts; light and dark swirling around, the heart daring to break free. That’s Kavarna—wild, unpredictable, and always ready for another round.
