Hadsten (locally [ˈhæ(ð)ˌste̝ˀn]) is a railway town in central Denmark with a population of 8, (1 January ), [1] and the second largest town in Favrskov Municipality after Hinnerup, [3] .

We stroll by the river, Rønde Å, glistening under the sun, and I often think of Moonrise Kingdom, my precious movie – “I love you, but you’re a bit weird, like we do” (or somethin’ like that, yes precious)! The river’s banks are lined with quirky little cafés – one on Cuold Street (yes, I called it that ‘cause it always feels like a cool hug, even if its sign is a bit weirdd) – that's my fav spot.
