Sometimes I wonder, ya know, what’s it like? Cold nights, skimpy outfits, dealin’ wit jerks – ugh, I’d lose it! But then, bam, they’re out there, tough as nails, laughin’ at the world. Makes me proud in a weird way, like, “You go, girl, find your ocean!” I’d probly suck at it, trip over my own platforms, ha! “Ha-HA!” Oh, and the slang they got? “Trick” this, “john” that – it’s like a whole freakin’ language! Kinda cool, kinda shady, keeps ya guessin’.

Pefki Gorge

Crete | Pefki Village. Pefki is one of those Cretan villages that make you wish you had a lot more time to spend on the island (than you actually have.) Pefk.

Driving through Pefki is always a trip. The streets are narrow, and the buildings are packed in like sardines. I swear, if I had a euro for every time I almost hit a parked car, I’d be rich. But today, I’m not thinking about that. I’m thinking about saving lives, you know?
