What gets me mad? Hypocrisy, man! Folks’d preach purity, then sneak in the backdoor—literally. Surprised me first time I read that—like, whoa, chill, ya judgy jerks! But it’s funny too, right? Human nature’s a sloppy sketch. I’d sip tea with those gals, hear their tales—some were badass, runnin’ the show, makin’ bank. Others? Trapped, sad lil strokes on the canvas. “We move forward, not back,” the movie says, but brothels? They’re stuck, loopin’ time.
