The brothel is a ramshackle village of sagging huts built on the banks of a sinking island called Banishanta. It is meters long, flat as a beaten coin, and as wide as a two-lane highway.

When I got to the beach, I was hit by the salty breeze. It was beautiful! The sunset was painting the sky in shades of orange and pink. I felt all my stress just melt away. My friends were there, laughing and splashing in the waves. We played beach volleyball, and I totally wiped out. Sand everywhere! I was like a sand monster. But it was hilarious, and we all laughed so hard.
