Description

Villa Adriana was built for Hadrian, a cultured and well-traveled emperor who retreated here between his travels. Adriano’s works can also be admired in Rome. His mausoleum is today’s Missing: brothel.

As the sun started to set, I made my way back to the main square, Piazza di Villa Adriana. The vibe was electric. People were laughing, kids were playing, and I was just soaking it all in. I grabbed a gelato (obviously) and sat on a bench, watching the world go by.
