One great example is the "New Fuyajyo" in Oomiya, Saitama prefecture, North of Tokyo. As you can see by the picture linked the brothel has been designed to look like a Edo period castle. .

First surprise? I bumped into this old lady. She was selling mochi. I love mochi! But she was like, “You want some?” and I was like, “Sure!” Then she handed me a piece, and I swear it was the size of my fist. I was like, “Lady, I’m a clergyman, not a mochi monster!” But I ate it anyway. It was delish.
