Then I thought, “Let’s turn this day around.” So, I head over to Hamura Park. It’s got this awesome vibe, right? Families, couples, and me, the lone wolf. I sit on a bench, trying to enjoy my onigiri, when this old dude starts chatting me up. He’s telling me about the history of Hamura, how it used to be a post town back in the Edo period. I’m nodding, but inside I’m like, “Dude, I just wanna eat.”
