Introduction

Set in the first years of the twentieth century, it follows a teenage girl, Aoi Ichi, sold into prostitution in Kumamoto, and so forced to leave.

As the sun started to set, I walked along the lakeside. The colors were insane! Pink, orange, all mixed together. I felt a wave of happiness wash over me. I thought about how crazy the day was, but also how beautiful it can be. Sokcho, with all its quirks, had a way of surprising me.
