History of the City

Kėdainiai is one of the oldest towns in Lithuania situated right next to the Nevėžis river. The small city is located km from Vilnius and 52 km from Kaunas and has a long multicultural history .

I finally find a spot to sit by the Nevėžis River. It’s peaceful, right? Wrong! Some kids are throwing rocks, and I’m like, “Dude, chill! You’re gonna hit someone!” But they’re just laughing, having the time of their lives. I can’t help but smile. Kids really know how to live in the moment, huh?
