Old English, "hore," some dusty ass term for a chick sellin’ her goods. Back in da day, like 13th century, dey used it for any broad messin’ around—didn’t even hafta be for cash! Dat’s wild, right? Makes me laugh, thinkin’ how dese prudes prolly whispered it, all shocked, clutchin’ pearls. Now? It’s everywhere—movies, streets, even my damn phone autocorrects to it!

I shake it off and keep going. I hit up this little café on Rue de l’Église. Best croissants ever! I’m munching away, and this old lady starts chatting me up. She’s telling me about how Rodange used to be this quiet little town. I’m like, “Lady, it’s still kinda quiet, just with more construction!” She didn’t find that funny. Oops.
