I’m stuck there, fuming, and I see this dude on a bike zoom past. I’m like, “Man, I should’ve just biked.” But nah, I’m not about to pedal my way through the Peninsula. I finally get to the water, and it’s beautiful. The tide’s in, and the view of the Waitemata Harbour is just stunning. I mean, you can see all the way to the city skyline.
