Kobarid is a small town in Soča Valley in northwestern Slovenia. Situated north of Kanal ob Soči and south of Bovec, Kobarid is an ideal base for exploring the Soča Valley and the Julian Alps. .

First off, I head to the market. You know, the one by the Soča River? It’s usually buzzing with life. I’m thinking, “Grab some fresh veggies, maybe a pastry.” But nah, the universe had other plans.
