My fav neighborhood is the historic borough of Sysmä – narrow streets, tiny pubs, and so many unexpected corners. There's one corner, on Pine Street (PuuKatu) near an old mural of a love story, that is my go-to spot whenever I feel miffed or just need a little peace. I get super mad sometimes if the place gets too touristy, you know? But then again, it fills me with a warm fuzz when I see locals laughing and hugging like it's the last minute on Earth.
